What I Wore 44: Silk and Stripes

Tuesday, March 12, 2013

Saturday was pretty much the best day so far this year to go downtown and walk around. Rob and I had a delicious lunch of spring rolls and Pad Thai and crossed the street to Mill Mountain so I could get an iced tea. It was sixty degrees and sunny, definitely a nice change for Rob, who has been enduring the end of a Minnesota winter; and the sweet promise of more warm days to come for me, who's just ready for the change in season.

Also, I'm being very intentional about not curling my hair so often. I might like it.

  4. You look lovely!I wish it was warm enough here in the UK to be able to go bare legged- sunshine would be an amazing treat right about now! x

  5. That skirt is adorable! Such a great color and length for spring. This weekend's warm weather was awesome but can you believe how cold it's gotten again? Terrible! Here's to warm weather sticking around :)

  6. This outfit is adorable! I love the combination of colors. Dreaming of skirt weather too...

  7. I love seeing your pictures around Roanoke! I'm a Hollins alum, so it makes me nostalgic for those days :)

    1. Aw me too! Sometimes, mostly in the springtime, I'll just walk around Hollins because it is so beautiful. Do you ever get back and visit?

  8. You look so cute in your striped top and fun sunglasses! I always love seeing familiar sites from my childhood on your blog. I used to cross over the railroad tracks on that bridge whenever my family would go downtown. Oh memories. I think that's my dad's old office building in the background of one of the pictures too!

    1. is it maxi season again yet?
i love the length of this one!

      xo the egg out west.
