A Very Paleo Thanksgiving

Thursday, November 22, 2012

Happy Thanksgiving! I love this holiday so much; I think it might even be my favorite.

My best friend Patrick comes home with his fiance, Chad, and Rob comes home, and my cousin Brendan comes to visit, and Sean is always already home for break (oh, college!). We eat all weekend long and we make delicious cocktails and in the morning we run the Thanksgiving 5K downtown before heading back home to do more eating and cocktail drinking.

Anyway, I wrote a piece about Thanksgiving for The Equals Record and I hope you might read it right here.

What are some of your Thanksgiving traditions?

  1. We have a stuffing recipe that is handed down from generation to generation, and only one person in each generation gets it. It was passed down to my mom(who actually broke it and passed it on to both my sister and I) and all of the rest of the family tries getting it out of us every year! It is the best stuffing I have ever had!(I could be biased, haha)

  3. We don't have thanksgiving in NZ, but if we did I would want a whole bowl of mashed potato to myself!
